Tiffany Baxter Stifter, LMFT
Tiffany Baxter Stifter has her Master and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Pepperdine University (California). She was awarded her certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She has been licensed in Nevada as a Marriage and Family Therapist since 2006. She became licensed in the state of Georgia in 2018 and recently moved to Augusta with her family.
Tiffany has worked in a variety of settings. She recently was working in child welfare managing psychiatric admissions and mental health court proceedings for the Clark County Department of Family Services. She has extensive experience working in psychiatric inpatient, outpatient, and partial hospitalizations settings with children, adults, and seniors. She has worked in a variety of private practice settings working with families, couples, and individuals dealing with issues such as depression, suicidality, anxiety, bipolar, couple’s issues, divorce, women’s issues, adjustment, anger management, and parenting.
Tiffany uses an integrative modality approach. She primarily focuses on the family as a system for effective and long-term change. She uses Cognitive-Behavioral approach, she is trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems. She works to find the right fit with each client and values individual differences.
